Anca Wessels

Biokineticist and Sport Massage therapist

Anca Wessels

Anca is a BASA (Biokinetic Association of South Africa) and HPCSA registered Biokineticist as well as a certified Sport Massage Therapist.

She completed her honours degree in Sport Science in 2006 and her honours degree in Biokinetics in 2007 through the University of Pretoria and completed her Sport Massage Therapy qualification in 2006.

Anca has always had a keen interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, pain related to pre- and post-natal as well as working with kids and the elderly. Her passion for wellness and overall health advice has increased over the years and Anca prides herself on the wide spectrum of services provided by her practice.



Bontle Kemsley

Bontle Kemsley

Bontle is the heart and soul of “the W – sport and wellness centre”. Whether you need to make an appointment or settle an account, she is the one to speak to. You can expect her soft and gentle voice over the phone or her professional tone over email.

She is our social media guru and continues to keep our centre in tip top shape. Bontle is currently studying part time Architectural Draughting and wishes to complete her studies by 2018.


Gary Burnard


Gary Burnard

Gary studied at the Tshwane University of Technology and obtained his diploma in Sport and Exercise Technology in 2016. He has successfully completed sports massage courses and is an IIFT qualified fitness specialist.

Gary is passionate about health and has searched to obtain practical knowledge which has lead him to obtain various first aid qualifications.

Gary has been involved personally and professionally in the health and fitness industry for over 5 years. He has gained extensive knowledge of the human body, including biomechanics, conditioning and rehabilitation.


Dr. Gert Ferreira


Dr Gert Ferreira

Dr Gert Ferreira qualified with his Masters degree in Technology of Chiropractic at the University of Johannesburg. During his studies he was privileged to work at UJ’s Chiropractic clinic as an Assistant Clinician, he was also President of the Student Chiropractic Sports Council.

Dr Gert Ferreira was invited to join the Golden Key International Honour Society. This Society is an international non-profit organisation which recognizes academic excellence. Membership is by invitation only and is purely based on academic merit. Membership is limited to the top 15% of degree students, from all disciplines.

After his clinical and internship years, Dr Gert opened his private practice in Centurion, Pretoria. Among treating the general day to day conditions he also treated sportsmen and women, paediatrics and geriatrics.

Dr Gert Ferreira always had an intense passion for sport. At school he played u/15, u/16 and u/18 Blue Bulls youth clubs. Dr Gert Ferreira was involved with the Golden Lions Female rugby team in 2014. With Chirosport South Africa he has treated at numerous sporting events including the Africa Crossfit Regionals in 2013 and 2014 as World Powerlifting championship held in Pothchefstroom, Masters World Squash championship etc.

Dr Gert Ferreira was recently in Poland to work at the International World Games. He was one of 40 top Sports Chiropractors from all across the world. He treated numerous athletes that went on winning Gold in their respectable sports.

Dr Gert Ferreira strives to get his patients back to optimum health as quick as possible.


Lucas Breedt


Lucas Breedt

Lucas Breedt is a HPCSA registered podiatrist who is currently the Northern branch chairman for the Podiatry Association of South Africa.

Lucas completed is Bachelors in Podiatry at the University of Johannesburg in 2016, Lucas has a keen interest in clinical biomechanics, sports medicine, custom foot orthotics, running shoes and clinical diagnostics.


Makungu Chauke

Biokineticist & Sport Massage Therapist

Makungu(Mak) is a BASA (Biokinetic Association of South Africa) and HPCSA registered Biokineticist. She completed her honours degree in Biokinetics in 2014 through the University of Venda.

Mak has a keen interest in orthopedics rehabilitation (Pre- and Post-Operations rehab), sports injuries, management of chronic illness as well as working with kids and the elderly. She is passionate about increasing a person’s physical condition and the quality of life by means of physical assessment and the prescription of health exercise habits.
